Day 8, 12 - Eucommia Waist-Strengthening Soup

Eucommia Waist-Strengthening Soup (Day 8, 12):
Madam Partum's Eucommia Waist-Strengthening Soup is a soup that is important for all mummies in Post-Partum recovery. As the weight of the baby has taken a toll on mummies' lower back and thus this soup can help to repair and strengthen mummies back best.
I am using fresh pork loin as it can make the soup taste sweeter as some of the herbs may be bitter in taste. For mummies who are halal, you may use chicken breast with the bones to cook the soup.
Madam Partum’s pre-mixed confinement herbal soup.
A piece of pork loin, 200-300g
1litres of water
Salt to taste
Wash the pork loin clean.
Bring water to boil in a clay pot.
When the water starts to boil, put in the chicken and Madam Partum’s confinement herbs in. As I am using a clay pot this time, after boiling, simmer for another 60 minutes will do.
Cooking Notes
You may blanch the pork loin before putting into the pot to cook.
