This Mother’s Day, it is especially meaningful to share with everyone our original Madam Partum song, as a tribute and to dedicate this beautiful song to all mothers out there.

🎶 A Mothers’ Haven
Original Composer and Singer @chriztong shares with us her thoughts and inspiration behind this song that she had composed for Madam Partum while nursing her child as a first time mom. Swipe to hear her story now.

A mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dates all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path. – Agatha Christie

What was your inspiration behind creating this song?

My inspiration is the music box lullaby.

As for the lyrics, it came pretty naturally. It was my genuine thoughts and feelings at that time, trying to remind myself not to forget myself

What does Mother's Day mean to you?

I have always been close to my mother. It was a day that I would take her out, bring her to her favourite restaurants, and celebrate her in general.

Now that I’m a mom, I truly understand the difficulties she has to go through.

What is one important thing you will do to show love & care to your child or mom?

It is to be the first happy face he sees every morning when he wakes up and the lsat face he sees when he goes to sleep.

I hope that it will remind him that Mama loves you and that I will always be here for you.
