Kim’s journey through secondary infertility exemplifies resilience and determination. Despite facing miscarriage, multiple rounds of fertility treatments, and surgery for endometriosis, Kimberly’s unwavering spirit prevailed, leading to the birth of her daughter at the age 40.
With years of experience and a deep passion for helping her patients, Physician Chen is highly regarded for her work in preconception fertility treatments, as well as her expertise in balancing and supporting the body for pregnancy. She is also well-loved for her compassionate approach in addressing reproductive challenges and offering personalized care to those on their fertility journey.
Dr Jessie Phoon graduated from the University of Auckland in 2005 and subsequently pursued a post graduate degree in obstetrics and gynaecology. She was conferred membership by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists(UK) and Master of Medicine(Singapore) in 2011.
Dr Phoon is a MOH accredited IVF specialist and is fully qualified to perform the full spectrum of assisted reproductive techniques(ART). She had the privilege to further pursue her interest in fine-tuning In-Vitro Maturation(IVM) into routine IVF and fertility preservation in Karolinska Institute, Sweden under the MOH – Health Manpower Development Programme(HMDP). She also helmed the directorship of KKIVF Centre & National Sperm Bank (2020-2023), and co-founded the OncoFertility Clinic (OFC), which is the first co-joint gynaeoncology and fertility clinic in Singapore. Her expertise extends to laparoscopic surgeries and clinical research.
As a passionate clinician, she believes in developing strong relationships with her patients, providing them individualised care, and ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
